AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misleading, biased, clinically inappropriate, improperly personalized, or inappropriate for a particular patient, condition, encounter, or purpose and should not be assumed to be correct, complete, or clinically appropriate.
No Medical Advice or Clinical Decision-Making
You agree that you will not rely on any AI output as a substitute for professional medical judgment or as the sole or primary basis for any diagnosis, treatment decision, medication decision, care plan, referral, patient communication, documentation entry, billing or coding determination, or other clinical decision. Any use of the AI output must be independently reviewed, validated, and verified by a qualified healthcare professional exercising their own professional judgment. The AI tool does not provide medical advice, does not practice medicine, and does not establish a provider-patient relationship. The AI tool is not designed for use in medical emergencies or time-critical clinical situations. This AI tool is not a medical device and has not been reviewed or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, unless expressly stated otherwise.
Human Review Required
You are solely responsible for:
Reviewing, validating, and verifying all AI output before use
Determining whether AI output is accurate, complete, current, clinically appropriate, and suitable for your intended purpose
Reviewing, editing, correcting, approving, and finalizing any AI-generated transcription, scribe note, summary, chart entry, or other documentation before use in a medical record or in connection with patient care, billing, coding, reimbursement, or compliance
Ensuring that any decisions, actions, or communications based on AI output comply with applicable laws, regulations, professional standards, payer requirements, patient consent requirements, institutional policies, and internal policies
Protected Health Information (PHI)
Your use of this AI tool may involve access to, submission of, generation of, or processing of information that constitutes Protected Health Information (“PHI”) under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”).
PHI may only be accessed, submitted to, or processed through this AI tool in accordance with a valid, executed Business Associate Agreement (“BAA”) between you and Jiro Health Inc. and in compliance with HIPAA and other applicable laws. If no BAA is in place, you must not use the AI tool to access, submit, input, generate, or process PHI.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that any PHI accessed, input into, generated by, or processed through the AI tool is permitted under your BAA, applicable law, applicable patient consents or authorizations, and your organizational policies.
Any AI output may itself constitute PHI depending on the information provided, accessed, retrieved, or generated and must be handled accordingly.
